Rabies : prevention is better than cure

Hi everyone!!! I am your local street buddy for life. Here’s what you need to do in order to save me, my friends and yourself from deadly rabies-

·         Keep your areas clean of garbage, which become the breeding and feeding grounds for some of my naughty friends, who will become aggressive towards me and you to protect their food source.

·         Adopt your local street dogs, feed them daily and keep them there. Why? Because,

o   We dogs can guard our own territory from dogs of other areas.

o   We guard you day and night because you provide us food and protection.

o    We can sense thieves, terrorists, danger and calamity before you can.

o   We keep the rodents, rats and the burrowed animals under ground and protect you from deadly diseases like plague.

·         Get us dogs vaccinated to avoid any remote chance of rabies spreading amongst us. And then your area will be secure from any dogs carrying rabies.

·         Get me and my friends sterlised so that we may not reproduce and our population shall be under control. No new puppies would mean no risk of rabies and no hostility by the
female dogs to protect their little ones from any threat. Also during the mating season there will not be any fights and aggression. After sterlisation, bring back your street dogs to the same area.
